The Chateau of Versailles, the infrastructure for the pilgrimage to Mecca, the Burj Khalifa high-rise buildings, highways in Indonesia, IT systems for a number of Olympic Games... This is just a small sample from the album of prestigious contracts across the world on which the CONTEG brand associated with Pelhřimov can be seen. The company is a manufacturer of enclosures and a supplier of technology for datacentres.

The company is the recipient of a number of business awards, the most significant of which was last year's Volkswagen Company of the Year 2024 award. While the company's headquarters are in Prague, one of its key manufacturing plants operates in the Pelhřimov industrial zone, while others are in Příbram or Barcelona, Spain.

The company is thriving globally: it has major orders in the Middle East, its products have been installed in buildings such as the aforementioned Burj Khalifa, the Jeddah Tower now under construction or the Saudi Airlines building, its products have been installed in Saudi Arabian universities, and it has supplied data switchboards to the famous French Versailles, for example.

The company is growing and wants to grow. It plans to expand into South America, other African countries, and is now looking at Southeast Asia in addition to its core market in the Middle East.

"The Czech Republic is still a small market for us, about eighty to ninety percent of our production goes for export. The main markets for us now are in Western Europe: France, the Netherlands, Spain, where I see great potential," said CONTEG Group sales director Vojtěch Voláček.
