The number of classic mailboxes has been increasing in recent years. OX Point boxes are no exception, with more than 300 of them already in the Czech Republic. They can be seen at railway stations and large post offices, and recently the number of boxes in small towns has been growing significantly.

"We see the production of boxes and the operation of their infrastructure more as a mission, the results of which we want to pass on to the next generation in the form of better quality services than the current ones,"says Vít Voláčeks, co-owner and director of OX Point,adding that now the Czech company has prepared a revolutionary innovation that can bring modern delivery to other people.

While now people usually have to walk hundreds of metres to delivery boxes, now they will literally have to walk a few steps. In fact, they can have OX BOX MINIs installed in their garden or in the open space in front of their house. In addition, the box can be shared between multiple users.

"We are negotiating a connection with the systems of the Czech Post and Balíkovna, the delivery of the parcel will take place without unnecessary phone calls and SMS. We are planning a similar integration with other carriers. Thanks to us, it will not be necessary to wait for a postman or courier. For those who shop in e-shops and online supermarkets and are busy, this will be a great solution for parcel service," says Vít Voláčeks, the head of OX Point,adding that the basic delivery OX BOX MINI will cost approximately CZK 5,500.

Customers will be able to get other variants including refrigerated boxes for fresh food within a month. So if online food delivery companies deliver to them, recipients will not necessarily have to be physically present to receive the goods.

OX Point, in cooperation with Czech Post and Balíkova, provides similar delivery services for apartment buildings. It targets mainly new development projects, where modern delivery boxes should soon be standard. Naturally, however, the people from OX Point are happy to arrange for mailboxes to be set up in older apartment buildings as well.

In addition, OX Point will continue to improve the services associated with the use of boxes for households and residential units. This is similar to the municipal or public boxes, which, in addition to receiving and dispatching parcels, for example, already mediate the transfer of items between citizens.
